Can you believe that is has been almost a year since our last trip to Ontario? We are hoping for some great fishing. Last year was a bit rocky. A trip to the emergency room to experience the wonderful Canadian health care system. And Mike won big fish for the first time. So I'll take a few changes this time around. A couple of things remained constant however, big northern, huge walleye and cold beer.
We'll be picking Johnson up in Chicago and then spending the night in Virginia, MN. 7:30a tee time at the Wolf Ridge Golf Club, then off to the border. We will once again be drawing draft slots for the 2009 CBS Fantasy Football League. Our draft will be in Buffalo, NY the weekend of 8/27. Golf, Bills vs. Bengals, poker and the occasional imbibing. Sounds fun doesn't it?
Check back after 8/8 for a full report on how the Tri State Fishing Club Canada 2009 trip went. Here are a few pics from the last several years on the mighty Winnipeg River. You can also follow the action on our Facebook Group page. Just search The Tri State Fishing Club, there is only one. In the meantime, here are a few pics from some of our past trips both good and well...And yes Mike wears that same Ohio State shirt every year, and almost every day of the trip. It's good luck or something.

Meet the Members of The Tri State Fishing Club
We are a Multi-Species fishing club with members from Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.
Our annual trips include a Largemouth Bass trip across Southern Indiana in late April each year. A Northern Pike, Smallmouth, and Walleye trip to Ontario the first week of August. A Winter flats fishing trip to St. Pete Beach Florida sometime in January or February. And an agreed upon full club trip to a voted on destination during the Summer. Every member has an individual member page that you can find through the link on the left side of the home page. But here is a little glimpse of the members and some of the action from The Tri State Fishing Club.
